In addition to his companies and worklife, Mr. Evans is deeply committed to his community, and serves on several Boards.  These include the Grandview Heights Public Library Board of Trustees and GHPL Foundation ($1MM Fund Balance), St. Luke's on Fifth Emmaus Leadership Council and Board of Trustees, and the Grandview Heights Parks Advisory Board. 


Through these efforts and roles, Mr. Evans has overseen the development of several park buildings and structures, and is Chair of the Finance Committees for the Library (budget of $2.9MM), and Church.


Mr. Evans recently created and runs a Memorial Fund in the name of a dear friend, taken too soon by cancer.  This fund awards annual financial gifts to students from two school systems, and has grown to a self-sustaining level.

With more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, golf, hotel consulting, and small business ownership, Mr. Evans offers a unique skillset, background, and level of experience not easily found in today's market.  Mr. Evans has held senior positions with national and international firms such as GE Capital, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Laventhol & Horwath, US Realty Consultants, Summerstreet Advisors.  Between these opportunities, Mr. Evans created and still owns The Golf Consulting Group and The Ohio Taproom, along with the umbrella company, Active Management, Inc.


In early 2016, Mr. Evans completed his tenure with GE Capital Real Estate, following the divestiture of GE's CRE portfolio of debt and equity - nearly $50bn in total.


Mr. Evans has reopened his consulting practices to leverage the experience at GE and elsewhere, while also taking advantage of his unique and extensive network of contacts throughout the world - either those from GE, PwC, L&H, or the clients worked with during those ventures.
